Dr. Alan Nadour , M.D.

A board certified Internal Medicine doctor who provides comprehensive medical services for routine health wellness, disease prevention, and management of acute illnesses and chronic conditions.

Dr. Nadour is a fellowship-trained vascular internist and board certified in Vascular Medicine, a medical specialty that focuses on evaluating, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of diseases affecting the arteries, veins, and lymph system.

Dr. Nadour is also board certified in Phlebology, also known as venous and lymphatic medicine, a specialty deals with studying the anatomy, physiology, and diseases of veins and lymphatic vessels. Included within the scope of this specialty is venous interventions that are able to treat varicose veins by means of new techniques such as endovenous laser ablation and mechanochemical ablation. Diseased vessels are approached from the inside and are treated without the need for major surgical incisions.

Furthermore, Dr. Nadour is certified by the American board of Wound Management, providing high-quality wound care and consulting services.

David Prospt, Physician Assistant

David Propst is a native of North Carolina. He is married and has three children. He is a proud veteran of the US Army where he served as a combat medic. He enjoys family time, powerlifting, and educating others about healthy lifestyles. He had been involved in healthcare since he was seventeen when he first started as an EMT. He has practiced as a Physician Assistant since 2009 in neurology, primary care, and weight management. He is passionate about leading his patients to healthier and more active aging through diet and exercise along with traditional medicine and preventive services.

Carol Hoover, Practice Manager

Carol Hoover joined the practice also in 2023 as the Practice Manager, after moving from Virginia, where she was a longtime resident. She has worked in the medical field for over 20 years and enjoys helping people with their Insurance questions and their healthcare needs, as well as finding ways to improve and keep the practice thriving. Carol enjoys music, reading, lots of beach time, walks with her dog Maizy, and family time.

Jessica Bryan

I'm an experienced vascular sonographer with additional experience in abdominal, OB/GYN and pediatric ultrasound. I've been married to my husband for almost 17 years and we have three very busy boys and two loving dogs. I spend my weekends with my husband at the boys' many activities. I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping to improve their health.

Gloria Randall, Billing Manager

Gloria Randall joined the practice in 2023 as a medical biller. She has a world of knowledge of medical billing and many insurance-related issues. She has been such an asset in tackling the ever­changing insurance industry and her sense of humor is so uplifting. Gloria enjoys cooking, playing games, and hanging out with her family in her spare time.

Lisa Mailhot, Certified Lead Medical Assistant

Lisa Mailhot joined the practice in 2023 as a Medical Assistant. Lisa has worked as a Paramedic and worked in critical care units as well as emergency departments. She is a very hard worker and always willing to jump in and lend a hand wherever needed! We are so grateful to have you! In her spare time, she enjoys visiting the beach, spending time with and finding fun activities to do with her children.

Mariana Aguayza, Medical Assistant

Joined in 2023. She studied at Johnston Community College in the Medical Assistant program. Mariana was born and raised in North Carolina. In the office, she works as an administrative assistant who helps patients with scheduling, answering questions, and checking patients in/out for each appointment. Outside of work, Mariana enjoys many activities like hiking, volleyball, reading and being with her family and friends. She is eager to help others and always looks forward to contributing that patients have a great experience here at Clayton Medical Health and Vascular Center.

Courtney Coward, Administrative Assistant

Courtney joined the practice in 2024 as an administrative assistant. She was born and raised in California and moved to North Carolina in 2018. She is a mother of 3 children and 2 dogs. Courtney has a passion for helping people and wants to ensure that patients have the best experience. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, crafting, and baking.

Clarissa Ventura Nunez, Administrative Assistant

Clarissa was born and raised in North Carolina. She has a background in the Veterinary field and recently transitioned over to the medical field. She loves spending time with her husband, daughter, three cats and dog. She also loves finding new places to eat/explore in the triangle just as much as spending rainy days at home watching re-runs of her favorite shows.
